Andrea graduated from Clark University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology, and went onto achieve a Master’s of Science degree from University of New Hampshire in Family Studies with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009.
Andrea’s specialties include supporting individuals and couples through significant life transitions, relationship and/or marital issues, reproductive and postpartum challenges, trauma, depression, anxiety, and communication issues. Andrea works with adults and children, so if you have a child who is struggling with trauma, communication issues, identity concerns, self-esteem issues, anxiety, and/or depression Andrea is a safe and supportive place to turn. Andrea is an LGBTQIA ally and comes from an open and non-judgmental perspective.
In therapy Andrea uses a variety of therapeutic techniques based in family therapy theory. She utilizes systemic, ecological, and attachment theories, cognitive behavioral techniques, solution focused therapy, and communication skill building.
