Evie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience in the social work field. She is a native of Plano, Texas and graduated from the University of Houston with a Masters in Social Work in 1998.

Evie has provided psychotherapy and counseling services in a variety of environments including individual and family homeless shelters, residential substance use and addiction treatment programs, vocational programs for at risk youth and adults, youth foster care and intensive youth residential psychiatric programs and outpatient therapy. 

Evie’s therapeutic approach ranges from traditional to alternative forms of therapy and include but are not limited to: CBT, motivational interviewing, chakra energy healing, meditation, sound therapy healing and beginning level Reiki. Individuals and couples suffering from depression, anger, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, communication barriers, self esteem, stress and codependency issues have significantly benefitted from treatment.
