Tiffany believes that healing is both an act of personal empowerment and resistance to societal oppression. As a licensed clinical social worker and trauma specialist, Tiffany has made it her life’s work to help clients heal from traumatic experiences so they can realize their full potential and live their best lives. As a queer Latinx woman, Tiffany is passionate about working with people of color as well as members of the LGBTQAA+ community through a framework that is intersectional, anti-racist, and feminist. Along with her clinical work, Tiffany is committed to being a leader in her community and acts as a trained restorative justice practitioner and educator, while also teaching at the College level as well as an educator and yogi!
Since 2010 Tiffany has been assisting individuals by working with her clients by meeting them where they are and assisting them in finding their own internal strengths and empowering them in the process of recovery from depression and anxiety to relationship issues, ADHD, gender/sexual relationship issues and unhealthy family dynamics. Tiffany is skilled at assisting clients in connecting with their bodies through a somatic lens in her clinical work with adults.
Tiffany is adept at helping clients build healthy coping skills, explore their identities, and process trauma through the use of multiple modalities, she encourages her patients to build sustainable strategies to deal with life head on, always leading sessions from an earnest and compassionate place. Tiffany is committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients will be empowered and challenged to move beyond surviving as they find their voice and learn to be their most authentic selves.
